Each of the chapters has three rounds with about 6-8 scenarios, plus an extra round if we achieve 100% of each scenario, that is, die in all possible ways and solve the situation. Those that we do not solve we will have to repeat. If we hit three in a row they will take us to some insane bonus phases. The dozens of scenarios follow one another at breakneck speed – although we will have to repeat the ones that we do not overcome at the end of each round. McPixel is an MMA match that is resolved by a direct KO after the first kick. “McPixel is fun but not in the sense of standing in front of the screen and putting ‘lol’ or ‘xd’, it’s funny in the form of laughing out loud.” If we fail to solve the puzzle, the punchline will always be the same: the scenario will explode, but the way to get there is completely unpredictable.
It may seem repetitive, but the game manages to always go for the hardest yet and defy our expectations. The default action when clicking on a character is to kick him in the crotch, unless we have an object, in which case we will try to hit him with it or insert it through a hole.
